Held Out Last Week, Mansoor Delane Is Expected to Start for the Chiefs in Miami
Kansas City's first-round pick has no injury designation after sitting out the win over the Colts.

Mansoor Delane's first NFL interception came on his third defensive snap. On the return he stumbled, fell on his right shoulder and didn't play the rest of the opener against Denver.
The Chiefs kept him out of last week's overtime win over the Colts even though he dressed. Andy Reid explained it Monday: the shoulder wasn't coming along as fast as they wanted, Delane was on the border, and while he could have gone in if needed, they didn't want him playing a whole game.
This week looks different. Delane practiced fully all three days, has no designation on the injury report, and Reid said Friday he has a good chance to play Sunday in Miami. He's expected to start.
It's been a rough first few months for the sixth pick, whom Kansas City traded up from ninth with Cleveland to get. He missed mandatory minicamp in June with a hairline fracture in his scapula, according to NFL Network's Ian Rapoport. The Chiefs will be without left tackle Josh Simmons (lower back), and safety Chamarri Conner (right knee) is doubtful.
