The 21-year-old forward signed for $21.25 million over five seasons.

Chicago's 2023 draft is best known for Connor Bedard. The Blackhawks just made sure another piece of it stays around. Oliver Moore, taken in the first round that same year, signed a five-year deal on Thursday at $4.25 million a season, $21.25 million in all.
Moore is 21. He played 51 games last season, averaging a little under 13 minutes, and put up five goals and 14 assists. Over the summer he played for Team USA at the world championships and had three assists.
The numbers aren't big yet, and the price reflects a bet on growth. For a rebuilding team, five years of cost certainty on a young forward is the point.
